Our company is governed by a Board of Directors, which consists of senior government officials, elected and civil society representatives. Company’s daily affairs are being run through its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a highly qualified senior Government official.

 

         

 

 

 

Mr. Arif Saeed
Chairman - Nominate
Mr. Arif Saeed graduated from Oxford University. He is the Director of Service Industries Limited. Mr. Arif is currently the Chairman of Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power (Pvt) Limited, Punjab Power Development Company Limited and National Power Parks Management Company. He is also on the Boards of Saif Textile Mills Limited, Punjab Social Security & Health Management Company, Punjab Industrial Estates Development & Management Company and Competitiveness Support Fund.He served Dar Es Salam Textile Mills Limited as Chief Executive Officer from 1992 to 2006. Mr. Arif Saeed also served Lahore Stock Exchange and All Pakistan Textile Mills Association as Chairman and Vice Chairman of Punjab Daanish Schools & Center of Excellence Authority.

Mr. Qazi Adnan Farid
MPA
Mr. Farid is Member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) elected from PP-268 (Bahawalpur - II) and member of various standing committees of Punjab Assembly including Public Accounts Committee. Mr. Adnan has completed his degree of LLM from London Metropolitan University (UK) and doing business of cotton ginning.
   

Engr. Qamar Ul Islam
MPA
Engineer Qamar ul Islam Raja is an engineer and an educationist, who graduated in 1987 from University of the Punjab, Lahore and obtained the degree of B.Sc. (Civil Engineering) in 1989 from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore and worked on projects of national importance. He did Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Sciences in 2001 and also obtained the degrees of M.Sc. and M. Phil. in Mass Communication. Having qualified CSS examination, he served as PSO to Chief Ehtesab Commissioner during 1996-2000. He is Member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) elected from PP-5 (Rawalpindi-V). He is Chairman of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) and Chairman, Standing Committee on Education, Punjab.

   
  Mr. Waqar Ahmad
Mr. Waqar Ahmad is Head of Corporate Affairs in Nestlé Pakistan & Afghanistan. He has done Masters in Public Administration (MPA) in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University in the City of New York, USA and awarded prestigious Chevening Fellow in Responsible Business, Nottingham University, UK. Mr. Waqar has also worked as private sector specialist in World Bank and summer fellow at IMF. He remained Director of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and CEO The Network for Consumer Protection. He is presently serving as Board member of Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI), National Vocational Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Federal Employees Old Age Benefit Institution (EOBI) and Dairy Rural Development Foundation (DRDF). Mr. Waqar is a profound professional with years of experience and interests in business advocacy and action oriented research. He represented Pakistan on multilateral forums and attended various International Conferences, Workshops and Training Programs.
   
  Mr. Asim H. Qadri
Mr. Asim Hussain Qadri is water treatment specialist. He has done his Master in Economics from Forman Christian College Lahore. He has also worked as Regional Manager of Habib Group of Industries. He has installed and operated over 100 filtration plants for clean drinking water for community housing and flood effected areas in KPK. He is active member of Lahore Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Qadri remained associated with various committees and groups formed by Government of Punjab.

  Ms. Uzma Qadri
Mrs. Uzma Qadri is Member of Provincial Assembly. She is member of Population and Commerce & Investment Committee. She completed her graduation from Kinnaird College for Women in 1991 and she is Educationalist and have worked with Lahore Grammar School System.
  Ms. Khaula Amjad
Begum Khola Amjad has been selected as a Member of Parliament in the General Election 2013 Member of Provincial Assembly (PML-N) after her successful achievements throughout her political career. Begum Khola Amjad is a self-driven social person and has spent her career in multi-faceted projects by defending the human and women rights. She is always seeking new challenges and opportunities to get involved in a variety of events, projects and campaigns within Democratic Constitutional Government for the betterment of Women Education standards in Pakistan.

 

 

 

Mr. M. Akber Sheikh
Mr. Sheikh is Chairman of Zaamin Group of Companies. Mr. Akber Sheikh is a Civil Engineer by Profession with Bachelor’s degree from NED Engg., Karachi and a Master’s degree in structures from McGill University at Montreal, Canada. He has served as Chairman of All Pakistan Contractors Association (thrice), Chairman of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), Punjab (twice) and chairman Association of Builders and Developers. He has also served on the governing body of Pakistan Engineering Council. He was Chairman of Pakistan Engineering Council Committee on Regulation of Construction Industry in Pakistan.
Mr. Sheikh is presently a member Executive Committee of FPCCI. He is also serving as (i) Trustee, Friends of PIC, a trust that is constructing a 200 bed emergency facility at Punjab institute of Cardiology, Lahore (ii) Director Punjab Social Security Health & Management Company.

 

 

 

Dr. Kamran Shams
Dr. Kamran Shams is working as CEO of the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund. Dr. Kamran joined Civil Services of Pakistan in 1991 and held many important positions during his career. He worked in the Federal Secretariat, Establishment Division, and Ministry of Industries and Production. He also worked as Secretary, Human Resource Management at the Central Board of Revenue (CBR) and was part of the team responsible for the restructuring of HR format of CBR.
After resigning from Civil Service he joined Habib Bank as Head of HR-Retail Banking Group. He also worked as Human Resource Consultant with Canada Pakistan Basic Education Project, a project of (CIDA) Canadian International Development Agency.
Dr. Kamran Shams is also amongst the founding directors of Akhuwat, and also on Board of several civil society organizations such as Red Crescent Society and Fountain House.
